About The Sales Manager (Aquaculture) Role
You will play a pivotal role in leading and developing a high-performing sales team. Your primary responsibilities include developing new and existing business, creating a robust sales pipeline, generating leads, and achieving ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four to five sales staff to maximise their potential
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the client base and achieve sales targets
- Identify and pursue opportunities with a mix portfolio of local and multinational companies
- Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of new business
- Generate and qualify sales leads to drive business growth
To succeed in this role, you will need to have expertise in aquaculture, within the niche industries of pharma, medical, machinery and other commodities
Key Requirements
- Minimum of five to eight years of experience in aquaculture
- Proven experience in aquaculture sales with a strong track record
- Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving personal and team sales targets
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Existing customer base include a mix of local and multinational clients in niche industries
