Position Objective

Genics, an Australian based global leader in shrimp health & genetic breeding programs, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager in Indonesia to join our growing global team. Genics provides unique early pathogen detection & genotyping services to the international shrimp farming industry with a strong focus on Indonesia.

The objective of this role is to create new business (80%) and service existing clients (20%) in Indonesia while increasing awareness through your social media channels, tradeshows & educational workshops. Furthermore, a vital part of the role will focus on engaging & meeting new clients to understand their current challenges and explore how Genics services portfolio can add value to their operations. Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Development of an annual sales & marketing strategy for Indonesia
Investigate current regions and build territory plan for market segments
Research new market opportunities and report on these monthly
Meet quarterly sales budgets
Educate clients on the importance biosecurity & health management plans
Input client data and manage client communication via HubSpot CRM
Attend Industry trade shows and conferences across Indonesia
Follow up all incoming leads in an agreed timely manner
Create, update and deliver sales & educational presentations in Indonesian
Engage in LinkedIn social media to grow personal and company profile
Provide technical & logistics support to local clients
Adhere to company values and embrace company culture
Participate actively in weekly sales, marketing & operational meetings
Some travel visiting clients and farms is required

Required Experience & Skills:

Qualifications and/or experience in Shrimp operations, Science, Business, other aquaculture or agriculture segments
5+ years consulting, sales and/or customer facing experience In Indonesia
Experience in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook etc)
Experience using CRM, preferably HubSpot
Must have existing legal working rights in Indonesia
Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia & English language
